The shuffle means Chennai will have a new Commissioner of Police from Wednesday.  S George, who was serving  as Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) will now take charge as Chennai’s top cop.He takes over from J K Tripathy, who has been transferred as ADGP (Prisons). George’s position as ADGP (L&O) will be taken over by T K Rajendran, who has been serving as the ADGP in charge of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption. Satish Kumar Dogra will take charge as DVAC chief, from his position of ADGP (Prisons).
