Elephant turns violent

KOCHI: An elephant attacked its mahout when the latter tried to adorn the jumbo with a caparison during a festival at Chekkanad Temple in Eda Kochi on Wednesday. No other causality has been reported. According to witnesses, the incident took place at 4 pm when the elephant, Rajagopal, pulled down the Mahout, Santhosh, and tried to injure him, when he tried to fix the caparison.
