HYDERABAD: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday reportedly carried out simultaneous raids across the country at the offices and properties belonging to the Emaar group.Sources said that the raids were carried out in Delhi, Noida and Jaipur among other places.Several documents were reportedly seized.Meanwhile, CBI teams here continued to collect documents from various government departments pertaining to the contracts allegedly given by the then chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy to certain companies, which in return, invested huge money in Kadapa MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s firms.A team of CBI officials is also understood to have searched the Jubilee Hills residence of T Ranga Rao, director of Stylish Homes, which is allegedly involved in the Emaar scam.It is learnt that Ranga Rao has not been in the country for the last few days.Similarly, a team is also reported to have paid a visit to the Sakshi office at Banjara Hills from where some more documents were reportedly seized by them.Sources said that the CBI is likely to wind up its searches by early next week after which they will be serving notices to the accused in both Jagan’s illegal assets case and Emaar cases for questioning.
