NEDUMBASSERY: Hundreds of passengers from Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain were stranded at the Cochin International Airport after four international flights bound for Kozhikode were diverted to Kochi owing to bad weather.The diverted flights include Bahrain Air BN 515 from Bahrain, Air India Express flights IX 354 from Sharjah, IX 348 from Abu Dhabi and IX 344 from Dubai. All the flights landed here early in the morning.The Air India management had a tough time pacifying the agitated passengers after the flights were idled at the Kochi Airport for a long time.By afternoon, the flights were able to fly back to Kozhikode after the weather improved.Meanwhile, the flight IX 474 Bahrain-Doha-Kozhikode-Kochi, scheduled to reach here at 9.30 a.m., was delayed by over three hours as it could not take off from Kozhikode owing to bad weather.
