Four persons harass IPS officer's wife inside a mall; arrested

Four persons were arrested from a mall in the Hazratganj area in Lucknow, for allegedly teasing the wife of an IPS officer, police said on Thursday.

The incident took place on Wednesday when the wife of the officer, posted with the CBCID, went to the mall for shopping and four persons started following and teasing her.

The woman immediately informed the police control room and her husband about the incident, after which police swung into action. Later, after viewing the CCTV footage, Aqil Ahmad, Irshad Ahmad, Gulam Ali and Parvez Alam were arrested, police said.
