The eighth season of UTV Bindass’ Beg Borrow steal has host Aaliyah Khan facing a new challenge. She has to survive seven days in Assam, Manipur, Nagaland and Mizoram, without money, chained to her partner (Sahil Khatter of Date Trap). Here’s what Khan has to say about her handcuffed experience:When we were told that we (she and Sahil) would be handcuffed, I slipped. Sahil was a big challenge. He didn’t want to feel the experience around him initially. But at the end of the show, he confessed that he felt happy. I am glad I was able to pull it off.We attracted double attention since we were handcuffed. People would suspect us to be goons and ask a lot of questions. By the end of it, I got so tired of sharing the real story that I started telling them this was the latest fashion accessory from Paris. As a girl, it was one per cent easier for me because I got the first opportunity to put my point across and sometimes a little extra concern. Once Sahil and I got into a little tiff. He complained about me telling people the entire story when trying to hitchhike on a highway. I told him to get us a ride. After waiting for 45 minutes, I took over, stopped a tempo, shared my story and got us a ride. The producers were nasty. They gave us disgusting tasks. If one of us got the task wrong, we would get collective punishment. But some of them were fun. We prepared a traditional lunch for a family that belonged to the Khasi tribe, in their kitchen.I offer my inputs on other shows not only as an anchor but as a viewer. But in this show, the producers and the creative department take all the calls. If I get to know what is happening, it will lose its essence.
