New Delhi: Gautam Gambhir was India's highest scorer in the tri-series in Australia and can very well be one of the options to be picked to play South Africa in the Test series. But at the Indian Premier League, Gambhir will be a key player for Delhi Daredevils.
Gambhir spoke to CNN-IBN's Vimal Kumar about his expectations from the event.
On IPL tournament:
I think it is going to be very exciting and as all the leading players of the world are playing in this competition, so, it is going to be very interesting.
On playing with Glenn McGrath:
He is being the legend of the game and the king of seam we have. I think we have got a very good unit. And if we play to our potential, we would definitely try and win the IPL and I think we have got the team and the ability.
On Sehwag and team:
He has lead Delhi to a lot of victories and he has led them beautifully. The kind of side we have, we have got a very balanced team. Though, we haven't got a lot of big names but we have got a lot of utility players, who can contribute - those who can bat and bowl.
On the best team in IPL:
I think it is very difficult to predict which is the best or the strongest side. Whosoever play the best on that day will be the winner. So, I think every side is a very strong side and whoever play well will definitely win.
