Four persons who were found gambling at the Palarivattom NSS Karayogam were arrested on Sunday. The arrested are Balachandran, 72, Kumaran, 55, Sreedharan Nair, 55 and P K Aravindakshan, 67.
The arrest took place based on a tip-off to Special Branch Assistant Commissioner Tommy Sebastian. According to the police, the group used to frequent the hall whenever it was empty.
