New Delhi: Thanks to his brilliant sixth place finish in the inaugural Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, Jyoti Randhawa is now just three steps away from breaking into the top 100 in the latest Official World Golf Rankings.
Randhawa, ranked 119th last week, made a significant stride when he rose to the 103rd place with 1.35 average points.
The 2002 Asian Tour No 1 is looking forward to this week's Commercial Bank Qatar Masters which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and European Tour.
Compatriot Arjun Atwal -- tied 24th in the Bob Hope Classic -- also moved up to the 153rd place, improving his last week's ranking of 157.
Shiv Kapur, who failed to make the cut in Sony Open but finished a creditable tied 45th in the Bob Hope Classic, also moved seven rungs up to 180.
Veteran pro Jeev Milkha Singh had a real good time this weekend. First he finished tied second in the Pakistan Open and then made the biggest jump, moving 41 places up to 333 in the latest rankings.
Meanwhile, at the top, Tiger Woods' leads over Vijay Singh while Chris DiMarco's triumph at the inaugural Abu Dhabi Golf Championship helped him regain his World Top 10 status with a two spot improvement to ninth.
