THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Government will clamp down on terrorist activities by organisations such as the National Democratic Front (NDF), Chief Minister Oommen Chandy told the Assembly on Thursday.Complaints regarding NDF have come to the notice of the State Government, Chandy said, replying to a submission moved by K M Shaji. “The government will not tolerate activities by anyone that destroy peace. It is a serious issue,’’ he said.MADHANI: The State Government will examine what can be done for providing medical treatment to PDP leader Abdul Nasser Madhani who is in judicial custody in Bangalore, the Chief Minister said. The State Government has serious limitations in this matter as Madhani is in Karnataka, he said. However, denying human rights is unbecoming of democracy, Chandy said. Earlier, Kovoor Kunjumon, through a submission, said that Madhani was being denied medical treatment and humane treatment which was a gross violation of human rights.
