Gwalior Man Opens Fire On Being Denied Entry to Pub With His Girlfriend, Friends on New Year's Day

In an incident that happened on the first day of the year at Gwalior, a group of youngsters turned violent on being denied entry into a New Year’s party at a pub. The incident that was captured on camera shows a youth opening fire while his girlfriend is seen attacking the guards with her sandal.

The three youngsters who were accused of the crime were sent to police custody and all illegal weapons were seized.

As per a report by Free Press Journal, Amandeep Tomar, the prime accused is a resident of Morena and had gone to a pub in a city center area at around 11 pm on January 1. However, the pub was heavily crowded, due to which the bouncers did not give them entry.

The accused, Tomar was visiting the pub with his girlfriend and his other two friends and on being denied entry, the girl started angrily abusing the guards of the club. She also started beating them with her sandals and on witnessing the tussle, people surrounded them. Following the chaos, the girl asked her boyfriend to take his pistol out and open fire.

On seeing this, the club operators called police. Three accused have been arrested and illegal weapons have been found in them, CSP Hina Khan said. The accused have been identified as Amardeep, Devesh, and Rahul. A case under the Arms Act for assault and intimidation has also been registered against all three.

After firing, the mob caught hold of two of the boys and on seeing this, the girl  started to run, the Free Press Journal report stated. The third man also tried to run away, however, people caught him.
