BANGALORE: The High Court on Wednesday ordered notices on former chief minister Dharm Singh and others, including officials of the mines and geology department and the office of the Governor, whose names have found mention in the first Lokayukta report on illegal mining in Karnataka.Hearing a PIL filed by one D Natesh, who sought action against Singh as recommended by Lokayukta, a division bench comprising acting CJ Vikramajit Sen and Justice A S Bopanna ordered the notices. In 2009, the Lokayukta named Singh in its first report on illegal mining.
