Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Mathura Hema Malini on Friday faced flak for sharing pictures of her upcoming film on Twitter even as her constituency continued to be tense following violent clashes between police and encroachers.
After the tweets went viral, an upset BJP leadership asked her to delete them. Hema took them down and tweeted about the violence in Mathura.

She had on Friday morning shared some of her pictures from the set of a movie on Twitter. "Hoping for an early release of the film," Malini wrote in one of the tweets.

Her tweets indicated that she was shooting at Madh Island in northern Mumbai. In one of the pictures she was seen sitting in a boat.
