Jacob felicitated prominent Hindi scholar  K S Raghavan Pillai by draping a ponnada.M S Radhakrishna Pillai and Raghavan Pillai elaborated on the functioning of the Prachar Sabha. Shivapuranam,a book translated from Hindi to Malayalam by N P Unni and Mavelikara Achuthan, was released by Jacob by handing over the first copy to BJP leaderO Rajagopal.
