IBL auction: which player went where and for how much

The players' auction of the inaugural Indian Badminton League (IBL) was held in New Delhi on Monday. While most top Indian players - including Saina Nehwal - got the big bucks, some of the international players too were sold for good amount to the six franchises. Here is the list of players bought by different franchises.

Saina, one among the six icon players whose base price was set at $50,000, was picked up by Hyderabad franchise after making a bid of $120,000.

But it was Malaysian shuttler, Lee Chong Wei, who got the franchises really excited, triggering a bidding war between Mumbai Masters and the Delhi Smashers. He was bought by Mumbai Masters for $135,000.####
