Over 90,000 counterfeit documents were found during raids.
New Delhi: Three persons of Indian origins have been sentenced to 19 years in jail after being embroiled in Britain's biggest visa scam.
44-year-old Jatinder Sharma, his wife Neelam Sharma and his accomplice Rakhi Shahi were found guilty of conducting visa and immigration fraud through counterfeit documents.
The fraud was uncovered in February last year, when Sharma offered to get an undercover reporter fraudulent documents for about £4,000.
Over 90,000 counterfeit documents were found during raids on the fraudster's company- Univisas, based in Southall, west London.
Evidence showed that the trio had exploited students. They are expected to be deported at the end of their sentence.
