It’s a big relief but the battle hasn’t ended: Priya Dutt
Priya Dutt said that what ever the law had to offer the family had to face it.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday granted bail to actor Sanjay Dutt who had been convicted in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. The actor had been sentenced to six years’ imprisonment by the TADA court in the case.

A Bench headed by Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan took up Dutt's plea along with petitions of other convicts Yusuf Mohsin Nallawala, Samir Hingora and Zaibunisa Anwar Qazi.

Speaking to CNN-IBN Dutt’s younger sister also a crusader for his freedom said, “Sanjay’s bail is a relief for everyone who is in some way associated with Sanjay. We have gone through this for the last 13 years. We have followed every process of law and we have had full faith in the law. And that is the biggest gift that we have got today,” said Priya.

So was the family making preparations for his homecoming?

"The fact that he is coming home means a lot to us and there is no preparation. He will have a good meal and a good bed to sleep on."

She also added that whatever the law had to offer the family had to face it.

"What ever the law says we will abide by. This a huge relief but the battle is not over yet,” she said.
