Ahuja won the award for best male debutant.
The music awards were a Bunty Aur Babli washout. While music director trio Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy won the Best Music Director award, Alisha Chinoy walked away with the prize in the Best Singer (Female) category for the phenomenal Kajra Re.
Gulzar bagged the Best Lyricist Award for the same.
Himesh Reshammiya bagged the Best Singer (Male) award for his nasal rendition of Aashiq Banaya Aapne.
