HYDERABAD: YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy is leaving for Delhi Monday morning in a bid to secure the support of opposition leaders for his defence in the assets case against him.During his three-day trip, he is expected to meet all the available opposition leaders and also some UPA partners such as Union minister Sharad Pawar of the NCP.According to Jagan loyalist MLA Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose, the Kadapa MP will meet leaders of all opposition parties, including the main opposition BJP.Another loyalist, Balineni Srinivasa Reddy said in reply to a query that the BJP was not an “untouchable” party. However, he said the party would not have any alliance with the BJP. It is learnt that Jagan would complain to opposition leaders about the state government’s ‘harassment’ of its opponents. He will stress the need for unity among the opposition parties to take on the ruling Congress.Jagan is also scheduled to attend the ongoing Parliament session which is to end on September 8. He had not attended the session so far because of his Odarpu Yatra in Krishna district. The yatra will resume after his return from Delhi.
