Katta bail plea hearing on August 16

BANGALORE: Former IT and BT minister Katta Subramanya Naidu, his corporator son Katta Jagadish and Itasca managing director S V Srinivas, who are under judicial custody in Parappana Agrahara Central Prison, have to wait till Tuesday, as the High Court has adjourned the hearing on their bail petitions till August 16.Senior counsel for the petitioners Ravi B Naik submitted the health report of Katta Subramanya, seeking interim bail for him on health grounds. The medical report stated that his blood pressure was fluctuating and he had to undergo angioplasty surgery immediately. Justice Arvind Kumar ruled that the court could not consider the applications till it heard the views of the Lokayukta.
