THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Sainik School, Kazhakkoottam, is organising a two-day Kazhak Expo 2011 at Kanakakkunnu Palace on October 14 and 15 as part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations. The expo will be inaugurated by Pooyam Thirunal Gowri Parvathy Bai at 10.30 am on October 14. Different stalls showcasing the talents of the cadets in science, photography, art and craft will be featured at the expo. The photography display will be a journey taking you through the 50 years of its existence highlighting the major milestones in the history of the school. The exhibits in the art and craft section will display the artefacts and paintings done by the cadets. The science section will display the working models and projects made by the young scientists of the school. Besides this, there is also a section giving information to the general public about the admission procedure of the Sainik School and entry into armed forces. The expo will be open to public from 9 am to 9 pm on both the days.
