New Delhi: So here it is. The first look of Rajinikanth's much awaited 3D extravaganza 'Kochadaiiyaan' has been released. The actor, whose last major release was in 2010 with 'Ethiran', comes back on the big screen in a mythical war hero avatar.
Directed by the superstar's younger daughter Saundarya R Ashwin, the film has a unique blend of real life actors in an animation format. The film is reportedly India's first motion capture technology film which is similar to the way 'Avatar' was made.
The film has been made on a whopping Rs 100 crore budget and is expected to release in Telugu, English, Hindi, Malayalam, Spanish and Italian languages. It was expected to release during Diwali 2012 but got delayed perhaps due to its elaborate canvas.
While the film's story is yet to be unveiled, the film is rumoured to be part fiction and part history. Apart from the Rajinikanth, the film also features Deepika Padukone, S. Sarathkumar, Shobhana, Nasser and Jackie Shroff.
Co produced by Eros Entertainment, the film is expected to release in November 2013. So, are you excited to watch the 'Boss' in a all new avatar?
