As part of a monthly talk series, The Indian Officers Association organised a lecture, ‘Homeopathy as a science and its utility’, recently. The lecture was delivered by A Ravichandran, Principal Accounts Officer, Auditor-General’s office.
Ravichandran, who has 25 years of experience in the field of Homeopathy, apart from speaking about the history of Homeopathy, laid emphasis on how popular the Homeopathy stream of medicine is in Europe.
“He pointed out that in Homeopathy, there exists over 3,000 types of medicines,” said S Nagalsamy, General Secretary, Indian Officers Association.
Ravichandran went on to observe that Homeopathy treatments don’t have any side effects.
The seminar, which was open to the public, was attended by 100 people. As part of the series, the Indian Officers Association plans to organise a lecture every month.
“The lecture series is being organised to make more people aware of topics like Homeopathy,” said Nagalsamy.
When asked if modern facilities used in allopathy such as scans and X-ray can be used in Homeopathy as well, Ravichandran responded that the all modern facilities can be used in Homeopathy as well. R Chellamuthu, former TNPSC chairman, presided over the function.
