Washington: If reports are to be believed, Hollywood hunk Leonardo DiCaprio would soon greet his stepfather, for the actor’s mother is all set to marry her school sweetheart.
The Titanic star's mum Irmelin is set to tie the knot with school friend Klaus Teigeler.
The duo lost contact in 1950s after Irmelin moved to the US with her parents, but met again last year when she was visiting her mother in Ruhr, Germany, where they came closer.
She even accompanied him to Sir Elton John's post-Oscar's party in Los Angeles in February (08).
According to close friends, they are planning to get married.
"He is totally nuts about her. He flew to spend Christmas with her in California and no one here (in Germany) believes he will be back," Contactmusic quoted a friend as saying.
Irmelin split from DiCaprio's father George when the actor was a year old.
