BANGALORE: When nothing is free in this age, here is good news for books lovers. One can  enter ‘Pustaka Parishe’ (book fair) and get any book free of cost. The Srusti ventures, a social service group along with Anubhava Shalee is gearing up to organise ‘Pustaka Parishe’ on October 30 in Bangalore.The main aim of the fair is to inculcate reading habits among people by offering them the right books. Book lovers who visit the fair will get one free copy of a book of their choice. The organisers say that they will be showcasing  more than one lakh books  at the fair. Their collection will have diverse genres including poetry, novels and short stories.Nagaraj Naavunda of Srusti ventures said that they are expecting a huge crowd this time as their early fairs were received well by customers. “This fair is targeted at people from all walks of life and from any age group,” he said.DONATE BOOKS: Visitors can donate books at the book fair. The organisers request visitors and other book lovers to donate old books, and they have approached the surrounding colleges in Basavangudi. “We are inviting college students to donate text books. If students contribute their academic books, the future batches can use all the books. It will also solve the problem of delaying the publishing of text books every year,” Nagaraj said.CONTRIBUTORS: According to Nagaraj their main contributors include Kannada Book Authority, Navakarnataka publications and Sneha book. They are also getting books from the Kannada and Culture department. Individual contributors including noted poets like Prof  Nisar Ahamed, Prof G Venkatasubbiah, N R Ranganath                                                  and Siddalingiah.
