Maharashtra: Engine and one coach of Amravati-Mumbai Express gets derailed, no injury reported
No injury was reported to any passengers. Restoration of traffic is in full swing.

Kalyan: The Engine and one general second class coach of Amravati-Mumbai Express got derailed while entering platform no 4 at Kalyan earlier this morning. No casualty was reported.

However, the incident has disrupted traffic on the Nashik-Igatpuri-Kalyan section of the Central Railway, a Central Railway spokesperson said here.

"Engine and one SLR (general second class cum Guard's Van) of 12112 Amravati-Mumbai Express derailed while entering platform no.4 at Kalyan at 04:50 AM today," a railway statement said.

Kalyan is 54 kms from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai Efforts to restore traffic are in full swing and many trains have been short-terminated, diverted and cancelled due to the derailment, it said.
