Make best use of new facilites: Acharya

BANGALORE: Dr VS Acharya, Minister for Higher Education advised the students of MVJ College of Engineering (MVJCE) to make best use of new facilities and opportunities available at the college. He was speaking during the inauguration of an oneday orientation programme organised for the new batch of engineering students at MVJ College of Engineering on Friday.Addressing the students he said, “You need to aim for the best to be successful in life. When we were students, we did not have much facilities, as you all have now. Make use of the facilities available and strive to be the best in everything you do.”He also commended the way MVJCE has grown over the years.E S Chakravarthy, Head-Talent Acquisition, TCS, further emphasised on the importance of sound technical education and communication skills, which he said is essential for students to imbibe and practice.More than 400 first year students, along with their parents were present.Dr K S Badrinarayan Principal, MVJCE, Bharathi Shetty, Member of Legislative Council, Varun Melanta, Director MVJCE were also present on the occasion.
