Ludhiana: It?s the talk of the town in Ludhiana. A 35-year-old man booked an entire cinema hall to watch a film with his wife and three children on the occasion of Karva chauth.
Local businessman Sikandar Singh, who did not disclose the amount he paid to the cinema hall owner, watched the Amitabh-Hema Malini starrer Baghban.
Later he claimed that he fasted along with his wife just as Amitabh Bachchan had done in the movie.
He said he was often too busy to spend time with his wife and children and so decided, to surprise them by taking them for an exclusive show at Surya cinema hall in Habowal, Ludhiana.
Singh had especially asked the theatre owner to screen Baghban as the film was based on the theme of everlasting love between a husband and wife. Singh has been married to his wife Meenakshi for nine years.
