VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh Junior Doctors Association has threatened to intensify the stir if the state government fails to respond positively to their demands for hike in stipend and release of stipend arrears with in 48 hours.Junior doctors of NTR University of Health Sciences have decided not to attend to emergency cases if their demands are not conceded by the government.Association honorary president Dr P Phani Mahesh on Sunday said they would serve strike notices on all the 10 government medical colleges in the state in this regard on Monday.Meanwhile, the strike of junior doctors entered the fourth day in Vijayawada.Junior doctors of medical colleges in Vizag, Kakinada, Guntur, Tirupati, Kurnool, Warangal have also been on strike.Medicos of Osmania and Gandhi Medical Colleges of Hyderabad will join the strike on Monday, Phani Mahesh said.
