Mining report not rejected

BANGALORE: Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda has clarified that the state Cabinet has not rejected the final report of the Lokayukta on illegal mining. “The Opposition party leaders have jumped to the conclusion that the Cabinet, in its meeting on Thursday, has rejected the Lokayukta report. We have sought certain clarifications on the implementation aspect of some of its recommendations,” he said.He, however, did not elaborate on the nature of clarification sought.
