Union Minister Kamal Nath on Thursday alleged that BJP's Prime Ministerial nominee Narendra Modi and Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tried to "mislead" people through "false" advertisements.

Union Minister Kamal Nath on Thursday alleged that BJP's Prime Ministerial nominee Narendra Modi and Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tried to "mislead" people through "false" advertisements.

Addressing an election meeting at Agar in Dewas-Shajapur constituency in support of Congress candidate Sajjan Singh Verma, Nath said, "Modi and Chouhan are misleading people by issuing false advertisements."

Dewas is going to polls on April 24. "Chouhan in the last five years issued advertisements of around Rs 1,000 crore only in Indore and Bhopal," the Union minister said.

He said BJP was "adept" at finding new issues for every election to "mislead" people. Nath also accused Chouhan of "passing off" the Central schemes for welfare of people as schemes launched by himself.
