New Delhi: Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal announced Mumbai's Azad Maidan as the final venue for Anna Hazare's fast from December 27 to December 29.
Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare has returned to his village Ralegaon Siddhi in Maharashtra. He has already rejected the government's Lokpal Bill draft and announced his plans to sit on a 3-day fast from December 27 to December 29, followed by a jail bharo agitation from December 30.
Earlier, the plans for his proposed fast in Mumbai had run into bad weather as the rental for the MMRDA grounds was a steep Rs 3.77 lakh per day.
However, Team Anna had applied again to use the space at the iconic Azad Maidan in Mumbai.
