The Kannada director had wanted to cast the late actor in a film
Noted Kannada film director Nagathihalli Chandrashekar unveiled a book based on the late actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan. This is the first book release after the superstar’s sad demise last December.
The book is a compilation of memories of the late actor, put together and penned by Manjunatha Addhe and named aptly as Kannada Sampathu (The wealth of Kannada).
Speaking on the occasion, director Nagathihalli Chandrashekar said, "We need more books based on the icon, like the many based on Dr. Rajkumar."
He also added that he wanted to rope in Dr. Vishnu to star in the film version of his superhit play Yavathi.
Dr. Vishnuvardhan’s last release Apthamithra is still running with packed houses through the state.
