Telugu Desam chief N Chandrababu Naidu continues to keep his leaders guessing on when he will make the most expected statement on Telangana.
“I will make the statement on Telangana at an appropriate time. I am consulting my party leaders and workers,” was all he had to say to repeated queries of mediapersons here on Thursday.
Naidu also chose to keep it a closely guarded secret his intended padayatra for which his party leaders have already given enough publicity.
“I will make an announcement on it later.’’
On whether he would launch the padayatra on October 2 and whether it would be from the Telangana region, he merely said, “I will let you know at an appropriate time.”
