National Board Accreditation for Apollo

HYDERABAD: Apollo Hospitals, Secunderabad has been awarded the NABH accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Health Care Providers. Apollo Hospital accomplished NABH accreditation in record 17 months since its inception. The three assessors from NABH were highly appreciative of the compliance achieved within a short duration and commended the hospital as the “second best hospital that they have assessed so far.” The assessment covered 490 objective elements. All the quality systems and processes to meet the requirements were individually reviewed and verified. Document review, interview of patients, review of medical records and onsite inspection was done apart from survey of O.T, ICU, High risk areas and OPD. Several procedures were witnessed and mock drills were conducted before awarding the accreditation.
