London: Top-seeded Novak Djokovic beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga for the 11th straight time on Monday to advance to the Wimbledon quarterfinals with a 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (5) victory.
Djokovic hit a cross-court backhand service return on the first match point and held out his arms in a look-at-me pose.
The shot was called out but Djokovic challenged and the replay showed the ball landed on the line.
Djokovic, the 2011 champion who lost in last year's final to Andy Murray, broke the 14th-seeded Frenchman twice and saved both break points he faced.
He next plays No. 29 Marin Cilic of Croatia. The match was played under the roof on Centre Court.
