THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Congress(B) leader R Balakrishna Pillai had made about 5000 telephonic conversations using his mobile phone during his imprisonment period, according to the report submitted by Hi-Tech Crime Inquiry Cell DySP Vinay Kumar before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate court here.According to the report, Pillai made as many as 4963 calls, out of which 3123 were incoming and 1840 outgoing between May 1 and October 24, when he was under imprisonment. He had also received 677 SMSs during the time. He had made the most number of calls on August 4 and 5 when he made 86 calls. The report said that Pillai had made 1747 calls from August 5 to October 24, the time when he was admitted to KIMS Hospital here. The report was submitted before the court in sealed packet on November 15 following a petition filed by Joy Kaitharath seeking the court to obtain the details of Pillai’s phone calls while undergoing imprisonment. The court is scheduled to hear the case on November 26.
