Vaiko said he would lead a black flag demonstration if the invite was not withdrawn.Noting that BJP president Nitin Gadkari and leaders like Yashwant Sinha have genuine concern for the Lankan Tamils, Vaiko appealed to the BJP leadership to cancel the invitation. For his part, Karunanidhi said: “I too share the views”.In Chidambaram, engineering students of Annamalai University boycotted classes on Monday against Rajapaksa’s proposed visit.
