TIRUPATHI: Revenue minister N Raghuveera Reddy took the resignations of the two TDP legislators--Palle Raghunath Reddy and B K Parthasarathy-- from his native Anantapur district lightly saying that people were  not taking the resignations seriously.Speaking to mediapersons on Friday, the minister, who was here to review the arrangements being made for chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s visit next week, said that resignations had rather become a fashion in the last two years with many such resignations frequently coming up for one reason or other.Replying to a question on the resignation of Raghunath Reddy and Parthasarathy over protocol issue, he maintained that the official programmes were finalised by the district in-charge minister in consultation with the people representatives and would be intimated to them later and wondered where was the question of protocol violation.Referring to the Sakalajanula Samme, he said the strike had already caused enormous loss. The functioning of offices, schools, colleges, hospitals, transport etc. have been  crippled. ‘‘I leave it to the wisdom of the leaders spearheading the stir on the need for continuing it causing hardship to everyone.’’
