Men's champion Roger Federer is scheduled to open Centre Court proceedings but organisers said play would not start until at least 1800 hrs IST (1330 GMT).
Others who are hoping to begin their campaigns include men's third seed Andy Roddick, French Open champion Justine Henin and former winner Serena Williams.
