New Delhi: India's iconic playback singer Manna Dey, who has had several popular Bollywood projects to his credit, passed away following a prolonged illness on Thurday at a private hospital in Bangalore. KS Vasuki, spokesman of Narayana Hrudayalaya confirmed the news. "Dey breathed his last around 4 a.m. after his condition suddenly deteriorated in the wee hours though he was on a ventilator," KS Vasuki was quoted as saying.
