Rs. 6 lakh worth luxury car robbed

BANGALORE: An unknown miscreant escaped with a Honda City car worth `6 lakh, parked in front of a house in HAL Second Stage on Tuesday night.The car belonged to Shashi Nambiar (50), a senior technical officer in a private firm.According to the police, Nambiar and his family members were asleep when the theft was committed. A miscreant gained entry to the house by opening the beading of the window glass placed next to the main door and broke open the door lock. When no  valuables were reachable, he took the car key and escaped with the car. The owner is suspecting that some one who is familiar to the family is behind the crime.
