Samsung launches Galaxy Tab 2 310 at Rs 23,250

New Delhi: Expanding its Galaxy range, Samsung has announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310. It is Samsung's first Android 4.0-powered tablet.

The tablet features a 7-inch WSVGA PLS TFT display with a resolution of 600x1024 pixels. The Galaxy Tab 2 310 is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor. Weighing 345 grams, the Galaxy Tab 2 310 is equipped with mobile voice call feature which enables users to communicate freely with great portability.

It is engineered with an extended 4000 mAh battery. It has 16 GB storage, which is expandable upto 32 GB. The device sports a 3 megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. The tablet has 1GB RAM. It is said to be light and portable.

The tablet features WiFi Direct and built-in social networking features such as ChatON, Samsung's cross-platform communication service.

The Galaxy Tab 2 310 is priced at Rs 23,250. According to Samsung, Tata Docomo is giving an offer of 3GB data download free to customers over a 3 month period with the Galaxy Tab 2 310.

The tablet was first announced in February 2012.
