A show cause notice was also issued to Gram Pradhan Jogender Sain by the district authorities in connection with the incident. Gram Pradhan is the committee chairman responsible for supplying midday meals.
Over 11 students of government-run primary school fell ill after consuming the midday meal at Lusana village in Muzaffarnagar district on July 20, 2013. An inquiry has been ordered in to the incident, K K Singh, Basic Shiksha Adhkari said.
