School project going places

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A project of the students of Carmel GHSS here has been selected for the National Children’s Science Congress, which will be held in Jaipur from December 27 to 31. The project also won highest points in the senior-level competition and got entry to the Indian Science Congress to be held in Bhubaneswar from January 3 to 7.  Tenth standard students Lakshmi Raj, Aishwarya Shyam, Akhila V Kumar and plus-one students Bhavana H and Lakshmi S S worked on the project ‘Effect of urbanisation on farm lands in Kazhakkoottam, Attipra areas’. Lakshmi Raj will represent the team at the National Children’s Science Congress, while Bhavana H will represent the school at the Indian Science Congress.
