Scores pay homage to Swami Athuradas

KOTTAYAM: Scores of people from various walks of life paid their last respects to Swami Athuradas, as his mortal remains were laid in state at the Kurichy Ashram on Saturday.
The body was brought in the morning from Kochi where he had breathed his last at a private hospital on Friday. The students of Athurasramam NSS Homoeo Medical College poured in large numbers to pay their homage. A large number of alumni of the Medical College, among whom were serving as well as retired homoeo doctors, reached the ashram to have a last look on the unique spiritual head who propagated and popularised homoeopathy. The cremation of Athuradas will be held at 10 am on Sunday.
