London: Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone regrets making "Rocky V", saying he only revived the boxing franchise because he was 'greedy'.
The actor shot to international fame playing small-time boxer Rocky Balboa in the Oscar-winning 1976 movie Rocky, and he extended his success by writing and starring in a series of sequels, which have grossed more than $1 billion worldwide.
However, he regards the 1990's flop sequel of the film as his worst Hollywood franchise.
"I'm greedy - what can I tell you? It was a mistake because the audience didn't want to see the downside of the character. They wanted him to remain on top. I should have known that. I fell into a sense of self-parody," he said.
Contactmusic reports that the 64-year-old is also embarrassed by his forays into more light-hearted films.
"People didn't expect me in comedies or musicals. I made some truly awful movies. Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot was the worst. If you ever want someone to confess to murder, just make him or her sit through that film. They will confess to anything after 15 minutes!" he added.
