Ranchi-based young achiever will be felicitated for his anti-hacking expertise.

Ranchi: At 18, young IT entrepreneur Vineet Kumar is already a cyber security expert and is dreaming big of expanding his operations. But much before he realises his aspirations, this Ranchi-based young achiever will be felicitated for his anti-hacking expertise.

Kumar, CEO of National Anti-hacking Group (NAG), an organisation, which he himself floated a year ago, will be honoured by the 'IT People Limited' on January 18 at Mumbai's Taj Hotel. They have been honouring amateur experts for past three years.

"I registered my company in 2006, and started catering to security needs of various IT sectors and educational institutions," Kumar told PTI while confirming the award news.

"Besides providing anti-hacking expertise, we make people aware of cyber security related matters in the wake of increased attacks on Indian websites. We provide call-based service and have 20 dedicated IT experts across the globe," the Young IT entrepreneur explained.

Stating that his motto is to ensure world cyber security by creating awareness and to work for a social cause, Kumar plans to launch a 'security brigade' to work on penetration testing, source code audit and web application security.

"My Mumbai-based friend Yesh Kadakia and I have mooted the idea, which is in its initial stage," Kumar, who is one of the youngest Microsoft certified systems engineer, systems administrator and database administrator, said.

Kumar, who also dabbles in web-designing and had recently received the 'young achiever award' from cricket commentator Charu Sharma, said his new venture could increase cyber security.
