HYDERABAD: The Telangana Congress Steering Committee (TCSC) has once again extended its deadline on the Telangana issue. It is hopeful that the Congress-led UPA Government will spell out its stand on the T issue before or after the winter session of Parliament which is scheduled to begin on November 23.The TCSC on Tuesday categorically said if the UPA Government failed to deliver the T state all the Telangana Congress leaders would join the people of region in their fight for a separate state.The TCSC will hold a meeting soon to chalk out its future course of action to prevail upon the Congress high command to deliver T.The TCSC underlined the need for better coordination among the political parties and people’s organisations fighting for the T cause. It urged the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (TJAC) to take the initiative in this regard and plan protest programmes in a coordinated manner to mount pressure on the Centre.“Sakala Janula Samme has been put off after 42 days. We will not withdraw the ongoing movement and take active part in it in the coming days to achieve Telangana,” the TCSC declared.The committee has decided to extend its support to all the organisations fighting for the Telangana cause. It will take a decision in a few days on the participation of Telangana Congress leaders in the protests planned by the TRS and TJAC onNovember 1. It has already decided to extend its support to former minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, who is launching a hunger strike for T. It will also extend its support to the fast of Konda Laxman Bapuji and TRS.TCSC co-chairman K Keshava Rao hoped AICC general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad would complete the national level discussions on the T issue very soon.
