The release of Illayathalapathy Vijay's 'Thuppakki' has been pushed back to the November 13, after earlier announcing that it will hit screens on November 9. This has come as quite a surprise for the fans who were waiting for the film eagerly to be released this Friday.
While the reason for this has been unknown, 'Thuppakki' will now be released along side other films on Diwali day, which falls next tuesday. It has been traditional for films to be released during Diwali, even if the date didn't fall close to a weekend. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film went through controversies around its title before the promotions began.
